> Syncstation won't load!
Bookmark topic
I have spent all day trying to get Syncstation settings to load so that I can sync my k700i. All I ever get is a message saying the app can't load as there is "no connection", But how can I set up a connection if the settings app won't open!
I'm using XP SP1.
Can someone help me break this loop?
Thanks,
David

What sort of cable are you using to connect your phone? Whatever it is, you'll need to install drivers for that first.

Can you see the sync station in the device manager? If so what COM port is it on? Make sure it is not on COM1 as thatn would cause a conflict.

I think by 'Syncstation' he means the software of that name on the SE CD - that's why I asked what he was using to connect the phone to the PC. Could be wrong, mind...

Thanks for the responses.
As for the type of cable, all I know is it connects the phone to the USB port. I am pretty sure the drivers are ok as the "new hardware found" banner does not pop up.
I have the option of Bluetooth but again, can't get into the settings.

so this a USB cable from the PC to your phones connector at the bottom?
Is it the DCU-11?

Yes and I think so! I am not at home at present so cannot be sure but I recall trying to load a DCU11. To be honnest, I loaded and unloaded so much that I could be mistaken! I also recall loading a 2330 driver or something similar.
Maybe I should try the DCU 11 route again.
Any idea where I can get the latest version? I seem to recall that it wasn't on the SE site.

David

sorry to interrupt but i think you can ONLY DO the update with DSS-20 and DSS-25 !!
All the other decks are not working to update your phone!!
