> How to send via BT to Pro duo stick
Bookmark topic
I have an mp4 clip that is 44mb and would like to send it through BT to my P910i. The space available on my phone's "C:" drive is only 33mb. When send it the transfer stops with an error saying that there is no space left and that I should delete some files. Is there anyway to beam it so that the phone will save it on the "D:" drive instead of passing it first to the phone memory?

First: Think about getting a reader for your PC, 'coz transfering
44mb over BT will take a hell of a time
Second: Most easiest and convenient way would be the symbian-plugin for TotalCommander (if u use it?). With it you
can easily browse your card and copy/move/delete etc.
Plugin is freeware, TC is shareware (but damn well worth it, using it for many many years now)
Total Commander:

I don't know of another way (over bt)
Hope this helps...

its possible via the SonyEricsson Suite, you can copy the file directly to the D drive

Oh? Never actually looked at the suite instead of synching ,-)
Anyhow i prefer using the phone's mem as just another drive...

if you open epoc file manager on your PC or via the P910 icon on your desktop when your phone is connected via bluetooth!!
Thats what I do, and I have senīt up to 100mb files to my 128mb card and it doesnīt take so long time! I think itīs faster than the cradle....

the cradle is faster than bluetooth.
but a card reader is 100x faster than both of them put together!

Thanks for the replies! I guess I really have to start looking for a card reader. Didn't know Sonyericsson Suite was capable of that. I'll try that first since I have that installed on the pc.

This really is a schoolboy error on se's part not being able to bt to the mem stick, i looked like an idiot when this guy with a 9500 bluetoothed me a 4 mb vid and it stopped due to lack of mem on C: .Whereas i can bluetooth a 6mb (presumabley in theory even a 128mb file) file to a 9500 with no probs. SE sort this out.
