Just bought one of those antenna booster for my t68 and it does not seem to do anything. You do put it inside the phone where the battery goes correct? Anyone else tried this product?

Yeah, you stick it in where the battery goes.
I had one for my old Nokia 8210 and I have to say it is rubbish and does nothing!
It is basically a glorified sticker!

it depends on what type of Antenna booster you bought. there are 2 types actually: one is a fake, the other one is not. the fake one doesn't do anything and is sold cheap on ebay or those "as seen on TV" type. the working one is not cheap, i bought one of those for $20 and it worked fine (price range is anywhere between $10-20). before not having it, i only get 1bar inside my house. after putting it on, i can get 2-3 bars. isn't that amazing?

Waddie -> Hi there. I had one of these so called reception boosters on my 8810 before and it made no difference to the reception at all. Could I have gotten the imitation stuff? Besides the retail price, is there any other way of telling the real McCoy from the fake? Things like packaging, brand etc? Thanks.

Sorry, totally irrelevant, but you reminded me of something - I was in a shop the other day, and saw a set of knives with an 'As Seen on TV!!' sticker on them. Only this time it actually said 'Similar to As Seen on TV!!'. Obviously a sign of the highest quality!

The Ericsson RF engineers aren't dumb. You probably can't improve upon the design.
A booster would be an external antenna
