I'm using IMAP to read e-mail on a T68i. Works fairly well, but I can't seem to find out how to delete an e-mail message. I know how messages can be "marked for deletion", of course, but doing so has little or no effect as it only causes the message icons to be changed in a way that is hardly visible. What I want to be able to do is to hide the messages I've marked, or commit the mailbox (in the sense that messages marked for deletion are removed for real), or both.

Help, anyone?

My phone is Finnish-language version, so menu names may be different... go to:

Messages
Email
-- > Settings

(Set account)
(Edit account)
-- > Delete email (this is not seen when account is pop-email...)

(I think this option game when I update my firmware to R2E006)

after you mark messages for deletion you need to send & receive messages again, your emails "marked for deletion" will then be deleted.

No, I don't get any "Delete Mail" option. Different firmware release, perhaps? (Urgh, I've forgotten how to display it.)

Also, messages marked for deletion are *not* removed on send/receive. I've tried this several times, and even switched to a different account (which doesn't really work) and back just to make sure the message list is fully updated, but the marked messages are still there.

Software release is R2A014. And I find it *really* annoying that I have to use a "secret" menu to get this information...
