Just curious...
Has anyone had their P900 touch screen fail on them? This is my second phone that the touch screen has competely failed to respond to any input, it still lights up and is visibly fine.
Both times, the handset has had probably about 8 months of use day to day. The failure came immediately without any obvious glitches leading up to it.
Im wondering if anyone has any thoughts or recommendations for this, I'm awaiting my third insurance replacement; it would be good if I could cite other occurances of this if they get reluctant to pay out.
Thanks,
Frank.

This has happend to me (and is the subject of another note somewhere here).
In my case the trouble was a small grain of junk getting caught between the screen and the frame causing the P900 to think it was being touched there. The effect was that no other taps were recognized. What tipped me off was then I powered on the phone, I heard a tap sound, when I didn't tap the phone.
The solution was to brush the junk out. Toothbrushes have been used with success. In my case, I used a knife to pick out the junk. Then all was fine.
Good luck.

Maybe you accidentially hit the lock screen option. Power down, remove batt. then reinsert and start up.
