Hi
I've bought my T68i in a swisscom-shop (switzerland) but i'm using it with sunrise.
There are now in the data accounts two swisscom entrys (GPRS and GSM). Every time i will ad some others (by SMS configuration od manually) i can, but after a restart of the phone they are deleted. Only the two swisscom accounts are there.
I can delet them, but after a restart... guess what... there are there again. Changes of these entrys can i make, but after a restart they aren't there too...
I don't know what i should do... neither the Swisscom nor the Sunrise or the Ericsson Hotline were able to help me...
Does anybody knows something??????
Thanks a lot

hi there!
am in the same predicament as well- i'm over here in the philippines and when i do a restart, the data accounts i've setup are gone.
i guess when our phones restart, they grab the signal (and the settings) from our operators...hmm
wonder if anyone can shed some more light on this..

Hi
I've spoken again with the SE-Support and they've told me, that the only solution is a Software Update.
I've made it (now I have R2E006

) but the swisscom-dataaccounts are still there... and the problem too......
And the game starts again: Swisscom says SE is responsible and SE says Swisscom is responsible.

Samer here in England with Orange. I'd be interested to hear from anyone in England and Orange with the same problem. Seems a bit crap if it can't even remember a few numbers!?!?

This is so frustrating. I recently upgraded to an T68i in the UK. I bought it from O2 - but sometime I use my Vodafone SIM when I do work related GPRS work.
If I switch off my phone - and then back on. I loose all my Vodafone settings. I only have O2 settings remaining.
I contacted O2 who were not helpful - (why would then want me to use another network for GPRS calls) and I spoke to Vodafone who really couldn't help - but were helpful.
I spoke to SonyEricsson and they suggested I took the handset into my local authorised dealer to have the phone flashed. This should get out of the forced network problem.
If anyone can help me with other suggestions that would be great. Can a network force you to use their service and POP mail?

Hi
How i've said: SE has told me too to flash the phone, but that didn't solve the problem, the accounts are still there.
I think more and more that there is no solution for our problem
Bye

Have you tried with other SIM cards on your phone?
I have changed between Vodafone U.K. and Virgin Australia without any problems to data account setups.
Some newer SIMs can store extra information such as data configurations on their SIM. Some operators maybe making use of this, and as a by-product it may refresh the data settings everytime switch on with one of these SIMs?

Hi, I work for a mobile comms company and I've bought a handset which is experiencing the same problem. Originally tmobile and now unlocked for o2. I flashed it up to r2e006 on EmmaII (the Ericsson service system) this morning and it has not fixed it. Will speak to Ericsson and see what they recommend. Ali
