Hey guys, im looking to upgrade to the p910i in a few months when my contract is up, ive currently got the p800.
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to use the qwerty keyboard on the flip? I seems very small and i was wondering if its easier/quicker to use that than handwriting recog/manual texting with the keypads.
Do you think upgrading is a good decsision?

Well, I upgraded from P800 to a P910i and I think it is really worth it! the keypad is great! Aith it you donīt need to tuch your screen when you want to write something! Then the screen doesnīt scratch anything;) It was teally scratched after writing on my P800 but on the P910i itīs allways like new

I agree, the keypad is great, especially when writing long e-mails.
My handwriting is too crappy for Jot when writing much...

I tried the P910 keyboard and found it far to small. What a complete waste of time. IMHO this isn't the reason why one one upgrade to a P910.
For typing long texts on my P900 I find the best way to go is :
close the flip.
create a new SMS using the T9.
Open the flip.
Copy the text from the sms into your e-mail.
I find this far quicker than fiddling with the JOT or the silly p910 keyboard.

Nice tip. It's a real pity that the P910 won't let you create e-mails in flip up / T9 mode.
But to answer the OP's original question, I get along fine with the keyboard, using either my thumbs or (normally) two fingers. I wouldn't want to write a novel on it but ... for me, it's quicker than screen writing, and marginally slower than T9.
