ok im sorry is some of this does not make sence i have messed up my keyboard and i got no how to fix it

i cant do a dot because a > come up insted

also my scroll wheel dosn not work

my arrows dont just move they also select my text

and then i click a new link on any webpage it opens it in a new windon this didnt happend before

i think i did something when i pressed and holded the shift hey for eight seconds and got a filterkeys windon

also when i try and use the numbers on the top row thay dont come up all i get is !"£$%^&*() with out having to use the shift key

please help

It sounds like one of your "shift" keys is stuck, or you have sticky keys on. First try going into control panel and finding "Accessability Options". Then switch sticky keys OFF. If that doesn't work, unplug your keyboard and have a look at both shift keys. If you can, remove them and see if somehting is holding one of them down.
