I had the same problem before I upgraded to R2E.
It wouldn't even show the name if I had entered the post with countrycode.

Now it works fine!

I still have the same problem. This is a common problem throughout t68's inc the i model. i have had my phone changed over this issue and still i am having the same problem with my new phone.

I am going to listen to all the others and get my t68i firmware upgraded to RE006 when i get some time. i suggest you do the same. Also the T9 is a great deal better in the new software and the phone is faster.

This may or may not be related, but it could be. I got a call, and only saw the number, and not name of the caller. I knew they were in my phonebook, so I went and looked them up. And sure enough, they were in there. BUT, I then went into the Edit Position option, and instead of the name of the person showing up highlighted, it showed another name. In fact, even though they were showing up in my phonebook, there was no position for them anywhere. Wierd, huh?? Wonder if there is a bug where numbers are being written over other numbers?? The phonebook thinks its there, but there really is no position for it, so the caller id can't associate the name with a number.

Suggestion: If you get a call, and the name does not show up, immediately go into Manage Contact -> Edit Contact -> Edit position, and see if the same thing happens.

I have R2B025.

kinda related but i had the same prob wit me sony j5 and z7

rang the technical director and he advised itg was nothing to do with phone and it must be network fault blaming intermittent CLI drop out or the PCN (mobile number) not giving a correct read out to the networks HLR

mmmmmmmmmm

me thinks not

me thinks sony have handed the phantom CLI prob over 2 their new phones too

btw guys i wanna upgrade me firmware 2 but wen me m8 had it done it completely erased his memory - he gfot it done at carphonewarehouse here in UK, nebody got bright ideas on how 2 avoid this

poppin it onto a pc is not option as i have nae got the cable
