I've just found a version of SMan 1.4 but can't install it just yet as I've d'loaded it at Uni so its on my USB memory stick and not on the phone yet.
Anyone else got it and know what's new?

although SMan is free, its only free for released versions and SMan and droll still hold the copyright on this and since its a beta who knows if v1.4 will be free? (although probably it will)
I think its a good idea apart from the fact they are regular Esato members it would be a curtesy to check I guess

The ZIP module seems the only major change at first glance but I'm sure theres more that aren't immediately apparent.
I agree .rar support would be very useful indeed. I've wanted an app to extract rar files for some time.

On slightly closer inspection I notice that the Bluejack module is improved. U can now choose to send the message in SMan as before or u can now select 'other file'. You can set this to any file on the phone it seems.
Also just took a snapshot to include Sony Ericsson Desktop & there doesn't seem to be a conflict anymore
