I have an unlocked V800 which unfortunatley got a few pixels showing the wrong colours right after I had it unlocked. I would guess this was covered by the warranty.. but is the warranty still valid when it's unlocked?

No problem about warranty, but at the repair point they will reflash software so they can test if everything is working fine and you will have the simlock back on.

They won't go as far as checking if the phone is still locked. If you're going for a replacement, they'll just check that everything's in the box and that's the end of it. If you're going for a repair, they won't check and most likely won't even care.

EDIT: Also, why would reflashing the firmware change the SIM lock? The phones are bought in by the provider unlocked to begin with before they flash the firmware and edit the SIM lock themselves.
