> stereo headset port on P900
Bookmark topic
might be a silly question, but does anyone here know how to sensibly open the little rubber port for the stereo on the P900?
I think sony ericsson have rather stupidly made that rubber port as it cant be opened easily and i have already made 3 marks on that rubber coz it wont open.
any ideas on how to open it? (i dont want to use a sharp object to open it)

Just swiftly extract it with your thumbnail...You'll get the hang of it.

hi, yes I used a bit of cellotape put it on the rubber door and then pulled it and the door opened.
Much better this way and no need to use nails and make marks.
thanks for the help

Hmm, if you use the headphone port regularly, I wonder if sonething could be fashioned to make it easier.
Say a thin piece of ribbon with a whole the size of the middle rubber 'nubbin'. Then you would have something you can pull on to open the cover. Of course, if you didn't want this to keep falling off when it's open, you'd either have to glue it to the rubber, or plug the headphones through the hole.
