anyone out there who shares my frustration at still having to wait for a full release of the pxxx-range successsor not an upgrade

Yup, me.

I got my P900 last year and was quite disappointed with it. Sold it, and bought an XDA2 which IMO is much better ( and cost me less ).

The P1000 or whatever it will be called i look forward to, but i just wish SE would give us some details of when its likely to be released, even if they dont tell us any specs.

From previous experience with the P900 and P910i :se announce them away from other phone announcements and they dont take as long to release as other phones.

p900 to p910 is an upgrade therefore cannot seriously be considered as anew release -to prove that point se did not encourage p900users to get the p910

and they ask for pre release stats and when it is relesaed they are disappointed.

I think the P900 is a great phone and I really like it but I do share other people's frustration in wanting a new P series phone, although the P900 is good is does have a number of shortfalls - it would be great if SE could integrate wireless ethernet to distance this series of phones from the S60/MS smartphone devices and more in line with the Jam.
