If I download MP3's from sites such as Woolworths Online etc, is it not possible to use them as ringtones? I downloaded one last week but it doesn't give me an option to 'use' it and it's a different icon to the rest on the phone? Are there sites available for this, just appears a cheaper option than paying £3 for part of a song?

Why don't you edit your own mp3 on pc? It takes little effort, but it pays off. This message was posted from a T610

its been posted before, but if you go to www.walmart.com you can download a 30sec clip of most of CD's they sell. Although i agree, cropping your own mp3's is alot better as you get the part of the song you want

I dont think this is rule breaking :-D u can do the thing to any "protected" stuff by recording it as a wav file while being played. F u want 2 use it as a ringtone u can covert it 2 mono wav file and cut the part u want 2 use as tone. Then convert in to mp3 ant upload 2 phone. U can use sterio file but mono saves memory. There are many free easy 2 use wav editing tools in the net. This message was posted from a WAP device
