I hope you'll forgive this message, since you may feel it's slightly commercial: but we at Virgin Radio have just launched some radio player software which we thought you might like to try.
Find it, free, at
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/mobile/
It works just fine on my P800 - I hope it works okay on your phone too.

From the site:
Quote:
The world's first 3G radio playerSydus and Virgin Radio have launched the world's first 3G radio player - so now, you can listen to our stations via the phone in your pocket wherever there's a mobile signal: from central London to Glasgow and from New York to Sydney - whatever network you're on.
We've teamed up with Sydus, the worldwide innovator in music-to-mobile applications, to make another world first.
Download the free software now,by visiting our WAP site on your mobile phone. Install it, then look for the Virgin Radio logo on your phone. The legendary Virgin Radio is available in stereo, along with our two digital stations,Virgin Radio Classic Rock and Virgin Radio Groove.
If you have a compatible handset, visit our WAP site from your mobile to install:
http://wap.virginradio.co.uk/
Or, download the application here:
Series 60 phones (eg Nokia)
Symbian UIQ phones (egSony-Ericsson)
Sound good. Is it just for Symbian phones?
I'm off to try it now on my P9 via O2 PAYG

Well I've installed just fine but it does nothing but say connecting....
My GPRS doesn't do anything.
No doubt this is YET ANOTHER great app that O2 PAYG doesn't allow u to connect to
I'm gettin sick of this!
Well done in making this app though, great for people not on O2 & I wish I could use it

It certainly works on Orange's pay-as-you-go GPRS, since that's what I use it on. However, the data costs for that make this only suitable for you if you've won the lottery!
In India, by the way, unlimited GPRS is just $8...

That is the hook. First free, than your eyes will bulge out when the bill arrives down the road.
