at the moment i am ownloading a game and it's file name is
GTA3 {-Rip-}
what is a rip file and are there any programs i need to run it?

rip = warez = copy = as in 'ripped' from the original
file extension is what's important ie .zip .exe etc...{-Rip-} means nothing.

you can better download the iso version if it's available, that's the full-cd version
