MY DAD wants to purchase a new phone so which should i suggest 9500 or P910i.

Imo the touchscreen greatly improves the functionality of such a device so i would recommend the p910i. However the wifi compatibility of 9500 could be vital factor as well depending on your dad's requirements.

id say the 9500, but if your dad doesnt need wifi and camera go for the 9300,alot smaller than the 9500,which makes it easier for everyday use.Huge screen.And the communicators have everything you need,word processor,spreadsheets,slideshow maker,full internet browser, ability to send and receive faxes and emails(as well as sms and mms(obviously))Adobe acrobat,Music player,video player.Good internal memory(80mb)which is expandable.
people say that the 93/9500's are slow,but i dont find my 9300 slow at all.
when i had my p910 it was regulary slow,and kept crashing on creating messages

P910i, since its more usable as a smartphone.
Also, the 9500 is rather slow compared to new smartphones, give it a miss.
