This post might get moved, but I'm hoping it gets some attention. Plus I was too lazy to find the existing topic thread..

I need to know if anyone has managed to successfully managed to get a P910i to work successfully with the BlackBerry service. It has been rumored that it has worked with the business solution option. However, I'm trying to manage to resolve issues on the Internet Email side. The general caution is that both solutions can not be configured to work at the same time. For those of you that are clueless as to what the two options mean here's a brief synopsis:
BlackBerry Solution - Private Corporate Email Server Configuration
BlackBerry Internet Email - Instant Email thru Internet Email Accounts
I have a copy of the BB Desktop Software for P910i, BB Client Software for P910i and the BB installation guide for P910i. However, I'm at wits end at getting anything to work properly. I'd imagine the business solution setup would be the easier route being that the IT engineer have more flexibility in configuring the unit to their server requirements. However, the internet email side is up at arms. I finagled a BB consumer account with one of my service providers for half the cost with the caveat that they would not be held responsible for any of the support. Now that I have the tools I need to get things gelling. So anyone that has experience or luck in managing to get BB fully working on their unit please share some information with us.

this is so funny. I know a lot about blackberries, web client and enterprise version. They only work because of the blackberry pin code. Because of this pincode, rim services recognises you are using a blackberry and enable the e-mail service for you. E-mail always goes through web client or blackberry enterprise server (push mail). None have succeded so far enabeling push mail on a non-blackberry phone.

@bigfeat
Where did you get the P910i client from?
If you want to email me the software, I'd be more than happy to play about with it a bit and see if I can get it to work....
If you don't mind, PM me.
Cheers,
Dave

"Mobile Releases Blackberry Connect For Sony Ericsson P910i"

Software and install guide can be downloaded from
http://www.t-mobile.at/busine[....]_arbeiten/officetogo/download/
(but this may not work unless your provider is T-Mobile)
According to Vodafone UK, they are still waiting for RIM to release the BB connect software.
