Hi!
you sure its a GPRS connection, not GPRS-Wap or just Wap?
other than that I can't help as Ive never experienced any probs, but im sure others will help!
Have you tried other pages rather than just the homepage?

You need a full internet connection to use your Opera browser. Wap over GPRS won't do, but the default internet browser included in the P910 can.

thanks for your help

You will have to call your service provider for the 'internet APN', if they do offer access to one.

I had the same problem once. Open control panel and then choose connections. Open internet accounts, choose your service providers gprs account and then click edit. Choose advanced, then write - internet - (don't write the thicks) in your adress section. It should be work.
In this situtation P900's integrated browser won't be work. You must create a new account as same as your service providers gprs settings but write - wap - in adress section. It will be more wisely to create a new account for opera, then changing the one you have one

@ Liamski
Hi I had the xeact same problem see link
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=83545#post1124833
Turned out that my Web GPRS connection settings had corrupted I contacted my network provider "Vodafone" and they sent the settings by SMS I installed them and hey presto Opera working again. I think from my experience the problem is more likley to be your phones connection settings rather than Opera hope this helps.
