> 'K700i- Playback failed'
Bookmark topic
Hi everybody I've recently bought a K700i. I used to have a lot of mobiles but
this one is worth all the money. There is a little problem though some downloaded files after a period
of time refuse to work and a message appears "operation failed or playback failed" I've even changed the software to R2AE033 but it's still the same.
I wonder if sb had a similar problem
Cheers

I've had the same problem with my k700. MP3s that used to work with the older firmware now have trouble at certain points when played back. I've verified the integrity of the MP3s, i think there is a bug in the player that rejects certain frames it cant decode.

My brother experienced a similar problem with his K700i but it was because he didn't have memory anymore. When he freed up some memory, they worked fine again.

I have, yes. I used Lamedec to decode the file, all frames ok. They must have broken the mp3 player in the latest k700 fw, as these worked prior to the ugrade.

i've not encountered with this problem and never heard about it! but the best way is to test the file. download it to your pc, if you'd not any problem with it then it may caused by low free memory on your phone or your current fw.
