HI, i received my v800, i did the update to R1J but my phone does not detect the memory stik .....
it did not detected it before the update neither
Is there something to do before using it ? i can not format it, as i do not have ( yet ...) a card reader...?

I have the same problem sometimes... my only temp solution is to open up the back of the phone, take out the memory stick and put it back in while the phone is switched on and without removing the battery.
Still... if this phone is completely new you may wanna consider exchanging it for another model.... just say it cannot see the mem stick
I've no idea what's causing the problem, it just started one day. tested loads of things but still no idea where to look
