I'm a bit disapointed about my new handset since it has many bugs. One of them is very embarassing :

I have just set up a gprs connection with Palm Os/phonelink via bluetooth, it works fine...until the palm closes the connection.
The K700 completely freezes , the on/off button doen't work, I must remove the battery.

The firmware is R2AE033 EU-1

I also have another question, how to close a remote gprs connection from the K700i ?

Next time press and hold the return key and cancel the connection, or simply turn off bluetooth. This message was posted from a K500

ok thanks for the workaround, by stopping the connection on the K700 before the timeout of the Palm it's ok.
FYI, bluetooth can't be desactivated during a gprs connection.

This freeze problem doesn't appear in Infrared connection, so I suspect a problem in the K700 bluetooth stack.

Chris, in your palm settings, change the timeout settings 2 nil. 2cancel bluetooth from Palm, just close off from its preference. Make sure ur palm has latest driver from Palm1.
