I am running R1X011 - Is anyone else having bluetooth drops after doing the z800 flash?

I have the Ford - Mobile-Ease system and it worked flawlessly with my z600 but my z800 (flashed v802) continually drops and reconnects to it. Does the same with my HBH 60 headset.

Does v16 or v19 address this with any bug fixes.

Any guidance on how o best flash the phone now? Is SET tool standalone my only option now?

Well I have found someone in US to flash the phone. Think I will wait until next week to see if there is an update to R1x019 before then so I can get most recent version.

Is anone using v19 or v16 successfully with Handsfree Bluetooth device?

Any others having issues with v11 and Bluetooth hands free deveices?

Anyone heard when final Z800 firmare might be ready?

Still have same issue after flahing to z800 version 19.

Had same issue with s710a I tested. Must be something different with Hands free profile in the newer phones. My z600 still works like champ.

Pieker Acustic (makers of mobile ease) say they they have been in contact with SE and that SE will release a fix for their phones. SE customer support says they no nothing about it so I am waiting for any news.

I thin BT is still buggy even in the latest Z800 fw. Try using Davinci or TMS to update to either R1Y002 or the newest one R1A I think.

Do not listen to this guy. Talk to gbrooks. There has been problems flashing v/z800 phones via TMS or Da Vinci. Repeat, do not listen to this guy. Da Vinci has been killing phones and rendering them dead, killing batteries, etc.. Gbrooks has been there to help out. Start with him first.

What is this rubbish??? gbrooks3 is with SEtools standalone!!! Where do you get your opinion about TMS??? I did just flash 2 days ago my V800 with the new fw R1AB and it is all perfect. No dead nothing!!!

So, about the issues with bluetooth:

I have a hbh 660 and 662 and with every firmware so far, they disconnect and until that newest firmware, they did not reconnect at all. Now with that new one, bt headset reconnects!

I cannot speak for da vinci client but with TotalMultiServer all went well and did in the past.

IF YOU USE THE CORRECT FILES that is !

So again, read the entire forum about your issues and do not listen to any 1 guy at all !

It depends on the CID of the phone. There is currently no way to flash a CID 36 v800. You want to see the refunds for the credits that I received from Da Vinci and TMS? I think this speaks for itself.

I am not plugging Brooks other than the fact that he has info about flashing phones and I have seen very few here that has as much experience as he.

No problem. Just when you refer to him, perhaps you should send the user to their forum of setools where he is moderator.

I doubt that he is running aroung here waiting for someone that needs his help. He is located for direct help at his other forum

And of course he IS indeed very knowledgeable. But no reason to put another user down for trying to help. I have read other much dumber postings pertaining to 'help issues' then the one above.

The guy asked for any other option then pulling out twohundred or more for standalone setool. And there are only davinci and TMS with client versions for a 10$ flash.

Besides all this, his actual issue is the BLUETOOTH.... any ideas there?? Especially since the same BT issue happens to many!

I have noticed that BT on my v800 "sometimes" disconnects. Twice in fact. Not often but what I have done from time to time is:

1. Delete the Headset paring, and then repair
2. Turn off BT and then back on again with the phone
3. Turn off the headset and then back on again

I think that the BT Headset or the phone "forgets" and needs refreshment every now and then. I use my headset all the time with the phone and it works quite well.

As for the other stuff, I did not send the guy over to the SETOOL forum as it is a bit confusing, and Brooks hangs out here often enough. As for putting the other guy down, I was trying to make the very serious point that there are major issues now with flashing some phones, with the CID 36 v800 being one of them. Mine is still Vodafone branded. I will sell it and get a z800 direct from SE here in Finland. I get a 33% discount on SE phones anyway, so I will not miss the Vodafone crap.

Thanks michael.

I agree though, don't take my word for it. Try getting the latest fw with setool if you like, I just suggested TMS or Davinci because 1) it's cheaper 2)they have the latest fw and 3) they support T28 service cable (which is also dirt cheap)

So unless you want to spend $200-$300 on the Twister box and another $200 on the standalone license, then give TMS or Davinci a chance.
