1. I'm using a PCMCIA adapter to load my MMC card with MP3's from my laptop. When navigating between songs (either by letting it play from one song to the next or manually) I get "Music File Error". If I then hit yes, it continues as if nothing is wrong! The files play fine on all other devices. Any ideas?
2. Is there a way to initiate playback while it is connected other than disconnecting/reconnecting the device or removing/inserting the MMC card? I find this extremely annoying!
3. The included headphones are mediocre, and it seems that you can't use any other headphones, even though there is a (3mm?) jack...not a standard 1/8" headphone jack. Plus the headphones themselves have this ring on the outside that sets them apart. Short of soldering other headphones onto the cord, is there anything I can do to improve these God-awful things?
I guess I can't expect much for $50. It's a far cry from my Samsung Uproar MP3 phone...but at least it's upgradeable to 128mb! For those who haven't seen it in the Tips & Tricks section, check out this post for info on getting back to the main menu while using the MP3 player. How could they have not included this ability by default? Sorry to be so whiny...

1. Have you tried reformatting the MMC card. That could help.

2. Hmm... You should go to the Accessories menu in your phone then choose the mp3-player and you would get to the MP3-players menu, the choose play, random play or select a track. You can also add a shortcut to the accessories menu, which I have done. Works great. If you put it as the first item in the shortcut menu, you can reach it by just holding the joystick/navigation key to the left

3. It is a 2.5mm stereo jack. Here in sweden there are converters from 2.5mm to 3.5mm (normal headphones). I haven't tried it but they should work. The ring on the outside is for the button on the headphones, or at least I assume that

What really pisses me off about the MP3 player is that there is no way of determining what order tracks come up on the player. I've tried dragging and dropping, one by one, and it still has an apparently random order.

Renaming them alphabetically or by modifed date doesn't work either.

Anyone cracked this one?

I have bought a micro-to-mini jack adapter but it doesnt fit on the mp3 player. Why? Because if u notice it,there is a "curve" around half the side of the micro jack which prevents the adapter from fully entering the hole (xmm hehe . In fact the adapter is too thick for the player...

Ps. Sorry about my english,it may be hard to understant what i mean, just take a look on the player's jack and imagine that u have to push in there a much thicker plug than that of the the phones. Dont know though wheather there are any smaller adapters...
