> T68 forgetting the words..?
Bookmark topic
In my T68 (R2E006 software) it is not possible to create words yourself and store them in the SMS dictionary.
The phone tells you, that the word you have just spelled is stored, but it's not. Next time you write a SMS, the phone won't remember it and you have to spell it once more.
Anybody aware of that problem?

Your dictionary memory is full. Esato is also full of posts dwelling on this problem. Please use the search engine.

The memory of the dictionary is not shared with the rest of the memory, used for images, ring signals etc. Actually, there is no way of telling how much dictionary memory there is left. The only way that you find out that you are out of memory is that the words that you add wont stick.

I must have added 100's of words, and sofar they all stick !
In the Nokia 8210 i think the max you could enter was 100 words...

One funny ting that I have noticed is that many of the words that are part of my bookmarked wap addresses have ended up in my T9 dictionary. I suspect the reason is that I have used 'send link as SMS' and then modified the link from inside the SMS. But I didn't add the words actively. It is a bit irritating since my dictionary is now full and I can't delete the unnecessary bits of wap links to make space for useful words.
