Hi tom,

The only handsets that come with a cable or a synchstation are the V/Z800 and the P8/9/910i series of phones.

The K700i does not come with a cable. If you are looking to just transfer music files and pictures the you should use the DCU-11 USB cable, as shown here:

Here's the link to the cable on 's website:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10029

If you looking to do more than just transfer pictures, music, like updating your phones firmware then you are going to need a DSS-25 synchstation as shown in the picture below:

You can find the DSS-25 here on 's website:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10161.

Note: These cables and synchstations will come with a cd containing the drivers that you must install on your pc to able to use the cable or the synchstation.

Hope this clears up your query.

I have the DCU-11 USB cable and with the aid of Sony image editor I can send images to my phone (K700i) from the PC. (The cable also means I can charge the phone).
Unfortunately I can't seem to send images from the phone to the PC which was the main reason for buying the cable.
When I select an image and go More> send... the options are 'via infra red or bluetooth' not via USB.

About half way down the cable there is a black box on the side of which is a small switch. It has 2 positions; one marked 'L' and the other 'R'. What's that for?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Lloyd
