Hi guys,

Having been a long time Nokia user, I'm finally deciding to move to a SE phone but I am having difficulties in whether to go for K700i after careful consideration.

I would prefer current and past K700i user opinion on the following plz.

1. How bad is the battery on the phone? I read a lot of reviews and many have said it has bad battery. Does the latest firmware improve its performance or is it a hardware issue?

2. Does the K700i enable call and conversation recording?

3. What is the call quality like? Is it the best out there?

4. According to mobileburn.com, the K700i has the best reception out of all the other SE phones he has tested and k700i rectifies the problems caused and experienced in previous SE mobiles regarding reception. Can someone confirm if that it true in their opinion?

thanks

Good decision to hop into the SE bandwagon. First of all, the battery issue. I think the battery of the K700 is good enough . It lasts for about two days with normal usage. Two days for a phone like the K700 is good enough. Of course if you use the phone very frequently, battery life will decrease in proportion. The reservinn quality of the K700 indee is best among previous SE models. And the phone has impeccable build quality. This message was posted from a T230

ok, and assuming you have owned several SE phones or used several, does the K700i come on top in terms of best reception on phone out of all the other SE phones?

gangully i've had the T68, T610 and atm got the K700 (and an Ericsson T10 a long way bak...) and I can assure you it has the best reception of them all. The battery lasts me about two days with continuous txtin and about an hr of calls plus games, music etc. You can record your calls.

lol bad thing about T9, anyway k700i is a good choice, and new firmware should fix and problems you may have, so choose k700!

K700 Batterylife is excellent for this segment.
Just as good or better than any comparable phone out there. Mine last a good 5 days with normal use (phoning and texting)

Make sure you get the latest firmware, it fixes all bugs and give better batterylife.
