Is there a larger battery usage when using a bluetooth headset than when just talking on the phone without such headset?

My battery seems to last much less when talking with a bluetooth headset.

Just to sort my question out:

I meant compared to talking on the phone without a bluetooth headset, not leaving the phone idle without talking at all.

using a bluetooth headset used to have a huge impact on the battery life of my T610, but the impact is not as noticeable on my P910. Don't worry too much about it.
