One suggestion for SE,
Release some cheaper price of Smartphones like Nokia 7610, 6600....

Not juz keep on playing with the K750, W800i and D750 all craps which r all similar!!!

Yes. A cheaper alternative to the likes of the P series. This message was posted from a T230

SE should join the Series60 bandwagon. if it this does not fit into business strategy, then join Microsoft. This has much better chance of success than going alone with UIQ3.

Hmmm...I think have positioned their phones quite well.
T series for starters...K series for semi business- semi multimedia segment & P series marketed for business segment & priced accordingly. Releasing cheaper versions of the series would just dilute the essence of the P series segment, which is exactly what's happening with Nokia. I mean...most ( not all) users buy a Nokia smartphone for e.g a 7610 and seldom use it to its full ability as a smartphone. Usage is mostly as a texting, imaging and multimedia device. The "smart" part, is seldom used. This usage can be easily achieved & arguably bettered by a "k" series phone.
Just my opinion though, ....I'm sure there are people out there who would know how to use 100% of a smartphones features but I'm also sure there won't be very many of them

I don't think the kseries can be called business models. Besides, series 60 phones can do all the K series can plus the smartphone capability at a competitive price. In many cases, less than the price of a K SERIES PHONE. This message was posted from a T230

SE should go with PALM os instead of symbian since sony is expert in palm os pda besides nokia will try again to gain control of symbian and SE may end up paying royalty to nokia This message was posted from a WAP device

Palm?!?! As much as I like Palm... I think UIQ is way better. Series 60?!??! MS PocketPC!??!!? Man... why on Earth would you choose either of those over UIQ?!?!?

Palm OS would come in second choice for me over UIQ. Series 60 and MS are out of the question.

UIQ has a much better phone->PDA integration than Palm does. Palm is kinda clunky when you stick it in a hybrid.

But UIQ is available only in the upper end segment. We are talking about a smartphone for the price of a K700! So far, only S60 Phones have managed to come to such a price level. This message was posted from a T230
