Hello.

When I a friend of mine sends me a pic via BT (he has the T610) that is 6.5 KB my phone says that it is 50 KB but when I connect my phone to the computer with BT, it says 6.5 KB!
And also, when I delete that pic, the space that the phone says that the picture was using, is actually getting getting freeed (when I look at the memory status menu)

I can only explain this that the phone attaches a thumpnail preview on the picture...
But, if it does this, then why is the thumpnail using more space than the picture?

Is this a known bug?

Thanks for reading...

It is a long known bug & can't be fixed.
I can't remember any work arounds but does it go small if u send it to another phone or the PC & back again or does it take up extra space again?

It's usuall thing. It happens because phone uses those say 6.5 kb for storing a pic and about 40 for opening it in raw format, so it can be viewed. But once opened pic keeps those 40kb till it's deleted. In fact when you take a photo phone will compress photo so it will take about 25kb and look bad. But when you receive a pic it'll look sharper and occupy twice as much memory. I don't think there's way around it. This message was posted from a T610
