By the power of P905 I bring u the.site content:

Quote:
Possio PX30 wireless router

The Possio PX30 combines the functionality of the earlier Possio PX20 and adds built-in Bluetooth network capabilityand a USB connection. By joining the wireless de-facto standards Bluetooth andWLAN (802.11b)—and combining those withan OSGi (Open Services Gatewayinitiative) compliant Java applicationsserver—we have designed a system that meets the demands of all existing and future wireless environments. Industrial locations, Wireless Internet ServiceProviders (WISP), corporate business, small offices and homes will benefit from new wireless applications. Low cost for highbandwidth in mobile networks, a cost efficient and highly flexible solution for network enhancement and network deployment.

Saves the mobile from having battery guzzling built-in WiFi I suppose

Not bad at all, but whats the range like... would be utterly pointless if still like a 10m from your mobile coz u can surf the net anyway with a dongle from 10m, i dont see how this can extend that range because it is the phone that limits that. So i dont think its a substitute for wi-fi at all!

Well with BT u'll need to be within 10m of the PC.
With this adapter u need to be within 10m of it again I exepect but the adapter doesn't need to be near the PC, it just needs to be in WiFi range.

True that is MikLSP, i suppose if u dont mind carrying it in ur pocket u got some mobility going, but its quite an improvement using one wireless range to leach off another it all depends on the pricing whether it would be worth it, i suspect it would be around 100 quid, that would still be reasonable but anything more and I think its not worth it at all.

Anyone got a price or availability?

This would be especially convenient on planes with WIFI and airports.
