> Outlook Sync Question - Mobile Numbers Getting Screwed up

Hi,
searched for an answer to my question in the forum's existing posts with no luck so here goes with a new topic...
brief: i am encountering a number format problem with my contacts in my k700 handset after synchronisation with outlook 2003.
details:
Outlook 2003
a Belkin FT100 USB Bluetooth Dongle
SE k700i.
i have synchronisation working well excepting that 'Outlook' seems to be reformatting the county code prefix in contact's Mobile Numbers fields.
before the initial synchronisation all mobile numbers were in the format: "+61412712519", which worked just fine. Outlook seems to be removing the "+" for some reason. To make matters more painful when you attempt to edit the numbers, the built in 'check phone number' facility further reformats the number and attempts to truncate the number to appear more like a lane-line number i.e:(07) 1234 5678.
effect: number error upon attempts to dial out on handset to contacts mobile numbers.

You have to make sure you're dialling settings are set up correctly. ad the same problem on mine - found the fix on one of the micrsoft newsgroups

it's not an issue directly associated with the dialling rules setup of the local machine or outlook. these settings are correct. as proof of this; local numbers will format and dial perfectly from the handset. it's the assumption outlook's auto makes that mobile numbers have the same format as landline numbers, that being; [INT 2] XX, [REGION 2] XX, [LOCAL 2x4] XXXX XXXX.
as my handset [SE K700i] prefers all mobile numbers in the international format: + XX XXX XXX XXX outlook breaks my contacts list in my handset every synchronisation.
