Hi guys,

Many of you will know of the
C.I.A world fact book website, It contains all sorts of groovy infomation.
Its here
http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/

But you can now get it on Phones,
But from what I can tell it's only for palm OS
look here

What I would like to know is...
Will it be Available on the pXXX series?????

I have found a clone of sorts

But I don't know if its as good.

I'm sure many of you could use this grrovy program!

I think it's the same thing. As far as I know Worldbook uses CIA data, it's just that the way of browsing is different.

Anyway there's a trial available. You can download it and compare it with the web page.

Yeah I think I'll give it a try.
Though I was under the impression that the C.I.A. Factbook was public domain.
Can they still Charge for it?
I don't know that much about the legal issue.

I don't know, but you're not the first one who's wondering about that.

Perhaps they are charging for the interface and the way of browsing (i don't know the correct term) not the info itself

I registered the World Factbook last year and it is really great. You can download free updates every time they upgrading country information.
