> Java speed on k700i
Bookmark topic
I currently have a t610 but am thinking of upgrading to a k700i. Just wondering if the java speed is good on the k700i? I need to find this out because it's hopelessly slow on the t610. Thanks

Its as fast as the popular s60 phones like 6600,7610,6260 etc. Since 90% of the games you'll be running are those made for the s60 phones or those with same graphics but made to fit k7's screen, you wont really experience any problems. Games start fast and close fast unlike the t610 where you might as well take a nap during the time it takes

I did feel that some 3d games like sc-pt 3d and even super real tennis were a tad slow at times but maybe thats coz i always keep the media player running

The last couple of days I've noticed my phone has slowed down a bit...breezing through the menu isn't as fast as it use to be...it's probably due to the fact that I've got so many games stored on the phone, mp3 tones and videos.

So have you decided to buy a K700?

I decided on the K500i. I like the K700i because of the extra memory and better resolution and it seems like a damn good phone, but decided to go for the K500i because it's cheaper and I like the look of it more than the K700. And the java speed is better.
