Hi there,
I have a T630, firmware R6C005.
I make a lot of calls to international numbers and use calling cards for this. I set up the calling card in my T630 and activate it. I then go into my call list and see a number of a friend who recently called. I then try to call them back but this is where I have the problem. The calling card number and verification number send ok but when it sends the number I am calling the "+" gets dropped. For example:
I want to call a friend in Hong Kong, I see his number in my call list: +85292xxxxx
I make the call using my calling card. When it comes to the part of sending the number to call it sends: 85292xxxxx
I don't get through. I have to store the number in my phone book as 0085292xxxxx and then use this number to make the call and this works ok.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
It's annoying that the number is in my call list and I cannot call it, I have to go through my phone book and find the number and call it from there. If it is a bug, is it just in this firmware, does it exist in the k700?

The same bug exists in the p800 & p900. All SE phones seem to send "+" as "0", not "00" the way to get around is to send the verification code as "xxxxpp0" with the option set to send code then number. That way the dial string is sent as
"access number", "xxxxpp0", "+44xxxxxxxxxxxx"
Which becomes
"Access number""xxxx""0044xxxxxxxxxx"
Get it?
The "p's" add a pause in the dialling..........
