Hi all has anyone here recently bought an engine management chip of the plug and play variety to increase bhp...Did it work and how much was it i have an audi a4 1.9 Tdi and an thinkin of buyin one thanks

It will not work on your car, all it is, is a resistor that you connect to the air flow meter to trick the engine intoi thinking its not getting enough, therefore it will drag more in, increasing bhp. Diesels work in a different way, they like to drag more diesel in, rather than air, so this will not work on a diesel.

Thanks for your reply but i'm not on about the piggy back chip i understand does what you say the ones i've read about are matched to your own individual vehicle weather it be diesel or petrol it's just that there's that many on the market it's totally bewildering .....%*
