You can get music from a lot of places online, the most popular form of it is MP3 - The music type you need to put onto your mobile is MP3

To download these files, you can get file sharing programs (try http://www.shareaza.com) that search and download more or less any music record you can think of.
This is illegal (in most places I think) unless you have the original CDs of course

Any more info required? Someone here will be happy to help

Get a music converter such as dbpoweramp which is free & easy to use. Then u can convert your music (even directly from CD) into MP3 of the quality of your choice.
Find it at www.dbpoweramp.com

What settings did u choose in dbpoweramp?
I use 80kbps at 44100kHz Stereo but the important part here is that you have chosen the MP3 (Lame) codec. I don't know why that shouldn't work.
Are u definately going to the destination/converted file & not the original?

So what were u doing wrong before?
At least u've sorted it.

The Sync-station is always temperamental. I find that taking the phone off, unplug the USB & plug it back in again, then give it a second & put the phone back on usually works

To the best of my knowledge .m3u's are the playlist file associated with MP3 batches. Those files are NOT the music files themselves but more the data file that music programmes use to identify the files within a batch. Could be wrong but I think you're trying to play a data file and not a music file...

I think you could be right there. I couldn't remember what an m3u was but that sounds familiar
