Kyocera announced 4 new CDMA phones today at CTIA. All of the models are expected out in the third quarter.

Slider Remix KX5: A Slider style phone that builds on the feature set of the KX2, adding music and a better screen. Features a 1.3 Megapixel camera with built in flash, a TransFlash slot and an mp3 player. Also features a new 262k color 176 x 220 screen.
KX9: A entry-level clamshell phone with dual displays and BREW support.

Topaz KX7 and Prisma KX17:Two low cost phones designed for emerging markets, namely Latin America and India. The KX7 is a clamshell model and the KX17 is a candybar with integrated antenna.

The Kyocera Topaz KX7 is a sleek, silver clamshell handset and the Kyocera Prisma KX17 is a compact, silver bar phone with an internal antenna. Topaz and Prisma feature a speakerphone, vibrate alert, polyphonic ringtones, SMS text messaging. Both phones also support Removable User Identity Module capabilities for storing removable phone information such as contact lists, contact information and text messages for easy portability between phones.

Topaz KX7 and Prisma KX17 also feature predictive text-input software providing rapid text entry in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese and Indonesian.

The Kyocera Topaz KX7 sustains up to 200 hours of standby time and up to 3 hours of talk time on a standard lithium ion battery, weighing only 95 grams and measuring 8.3cm x 4.5cm x 2.25cm. The Kyocera Prisma KX17 sustains up to 150 hours of standby time and up to 3 hours of talk time on a standard lithium ion battery, weighing only 85 grams and measuring 11.0cm x 4.5cm x 1.95cm.

Both phones will be available through CDMA carriers globally this summer, along with a full line of Genuine Accessories by Kyocera™ for enhanced style and usability.Kyocera also has a gamepad designed by Alienware.
