Does P series or P800 support EDGE? Its a new technology for faster GPRS. anyone knows?

ah thats bad... u know whats the speed of GPRS and EDGE. i think its 9kbps for gprs, but what for Edge? and, is there any thing we can use on P series for faster internet... ?

No you will not be able to use anything to speed up your current connection rate on the current Pxxx series.
As for the rate, GPRS is @ around 28kbps and EDGE @ around 340kbps.

That option doesn't seem to be cost effective. Wait for newer models with EDGE. Or....get a Nokia!

@hyper, gprs connects at 115kbps, and EDGE exactly 3 times that. The thing is, when EDGE will carry 3bits of data, the gprs can carry only 1bit.
