Hi,
my p900 has started crashing on me....i get the white sreen of death and the thing just freezes. Today i had to remove the battery 10-15 times!!
I have been using an SPV500, but I decided to go back to the SE. I use the sim that came with the SPV, will this be causing it?
Also, what happens when I do a master reset?do i lose contacts as well as installed apps etc?

its got 3.2 meg empty (80%)....
I have sman 1.3 running from auto, and it flushes all tasks except itself on the flip closing.
cant really determine if its something im doing that causes it as its so random.
I also cant update for 2 reasons...1) I cant get the laptop to recognise the phone throught the dock (same old story!) and 2) the one time it did recognise it the SE update site wouldnt let me for some reason. This is weird, as I can fire things over to the phone bluetooth, and synch, but cant get the dock to work...its the same thing only a different port, no?

My P900 has just started doing the same. Orange told me all of there P900's do it. They told me a new software virsion coming out. I also have s-man 1.3 flushing all tasks when i shut the flip think this maybe the prob.

I would do a master reset and start from there. An app. might be causing the problem. Uninstall everything on it, then do a master reset. Don't forget to backup your fon.

I have followed instructions in this site to the letter, yet it still wont work properly.Im gonna give it another go tho!!i hate it when computers get the better of me.

i know the pc can see it cos it asked me to back it up, but i didnt - last time i tried it failed and i couldnt connect again. I have also copied files over.
i then go onto the SE update site, go through the process and nothing happens....it just sits there doing nothing. ZoneAlarm has no traffic going through it either. Do i need to download summat to get the update service to work? This is driving me mad now.

When you start it will ask u to enter your software version then you have to download the software update file after that it will ask u to back up then you agree to the terms then a blank screen comes up it should say on bottom left corner applet started if so just wait it takes a while, then it should load itself.
