My advice is to give it up & not waste time on that very poor app.
It hardly ever works! It is incompatible with most devices even when it seems to suggest it has their setup. When u finally do find a device it works with then its totally pointless as the IR range is about 1 or 2ft at the most!!!
It isn't really useful unfortunately

you must be joking guys, for the first i uses psilocs total irremote on my p800 and it works perfectly, without problems.
secondly my range is about 2 meters which is about 6 feet i think

I have used Psilocs ir remote before when I had a P800 and it ok, the range was around 1 meter. On my P910i I uninstalled it as I couldnt get it to work with any thing.

I have a one-4-all remote and it works with most thirgs, but for many TV's etc it has 5 or 6 different settings for each brand. IRremote has only 1 set of codes 4 most brand so obviously many appliances are notgoing to work. Also, mostof my equipment is not even listed on there

Hmmm....this seems to be a combination of luck and perseverance. I've used this app for about 2 years with a P800, P900 and now my P910i. The range used to be pretty poor but is now (on the P910i with the latest software) in excess of 2 metres.
I had massive problems getting my registered copy to work when I changed from P900 to P910i and the Psiloc support lot seem to write in almost unintelligible English whenever you send a support email.
Eventually, when I threatened to bad-mouth on forums (my only real recourse - and I had paid for it after all!) they sorted it out and gave me a new code.
I must admit - it's mainly a bit of fun (with other people's TVs

) but I like it.

Sorry mate, I haven't had the P800 for about a year and a half now, and I therefore don't have the software either.
But it did work...
