its up to you buddy whether to change ur ringtone or not. its a UI programme. not unless if its required by the phone.

it depends on the theme because some themes, especially the OEM ones, have ringtones associated with them so if you've set your tones and then switch to a theme with associated tones, then it would override your settings.

Every time that you switch themes it will revert to that themes default RT....

So EVERY time you change themes you must change your RT.... I change themes on a regular basis, so I'm always switching back to my Signature Tone....

its annoying that it always seems to change the ringtone back to default, but you can create a theme with ringtones built in, or better yet, edit all the themes on your phone to use the ringtones you want.

I agree with this post, as I download some themes for my K7 then, I usually made notice of this 'combo' thing: theme + ringtone package!

I changed the file type so that the four default ringtones didnt take up much space cos they were pritty large plus they are also saved in ur Z drive
There should be an option though when installing the new theme to keep the current ringtone or use the themes ringtone

Don't know how that's done as the default is a midi tone and not mp3. I would like to know myself if anyone figured it out.
Thanks
