It's never done it before but today i noticed the red LED on the side of my S700 has started flashing like a service light. My battery is not flat so it is not because of this. Any of you guys give me any clues?

No idea, TBH.

Are you sure there is no signal? No signal and no battery means red light... maybe a reset, i dunno. Faults do happen occasionally, phones arent perfect 24/7

No, i've got a perfectly good signal and my battery is full, i've also done a reset but it still flashes, i'm not worried i just wondered if they'd started working as service lights or something cos my sisters k700 is flashing too, from the power button.

Maybe it has something to do with the infa-red, maybe that is switched on on your phone, or it could be the bluetooth.

Don't really no just a passing thought though.

Its a bug in these phones.
It won't do it always & it will sometimes flash for no apparent reason but its not doing any harm.

In theory its only supposed to flash when the battery is low (& maybe with no signal but not sure) & be on solid (not flashing) when on charge.
