> need help! P910 language is chinese)

ok...i bought a P910i, and for whichever reason, i coudnt choose any laguage at startup, and the language is chinese!! i checked out the language pack's there are on SE site, and there are NONE that match with my phone ( codes of organiser....) and downloading one of the otheres wont go, cuz if i use the pc suite to install a language from another pack which i downldoaded, it cant find any laguages on my pc (?) ....so i need help! so anybody got any solutions or ideas???? pleaze help!

the code on my phone is: CXC162044 R3A04
the best language pack there is on SE site for my P910i is for: CXC162041 R3AXX
so my best guess is theres no way this will work.....what would u guys thin is the time i'd have to wait for SE to come out with a langauge pack for mine????
BTW, any solutions are still very welcome!!!

I read your other thread related to this and yeah, it sure is a prob. I'm about to say the same as whizkidd suggested but just to be sure we've tried enough before sending it to SE, can you check check whether the firmware is due for an update. If so, maybe by then the english language as an option can find its way back and/or a proper organizer version finds a compatible language pack on the SE site.
'Hope it works out soon, whichever way.

other problem.....the phone i got, apparently is totally chinese, cuz even the pc suite i got is in chinese!!! ...i downloaded one from SE , the 3.1.1 ....but after having installed it, theres no file manager, and according to me some other features are also missing...i read tht the 3.1 is actuallt ment as an update to 3.0 ....so what should i do? try redownloading and installing?? any solutions? any ideas???

i think the best way you can do now is reinstall the software. in fact, i dl the software from SE site and i didn't use the pc suite 3.0.0 which came with the package at all. ^^ then try to update your firmware ^^

whizzkidd, thnx!! tht would be a ton of help rite there!!! and i checked for updates on it on SE, u know, where they ask u to type tha code from ur phone to check for updates, and it says tht the code doesnt match or something....and i guess the only thing to rly do to fix it all is to reinstall firmware, so start from scratch with ebglish as default....now how do i do that.???

By the looks of it, you wont get past the update as the CDA code os unrecognized. What CDA code does it have, by the way???
