Hi,

I've not seen this one bugged before and its a little unusual.

I've updated a friends phone to R2AN and when he tries to send a text the only numbers he can browse are those going upto M. We tried renaming one of the contacts to begin with A and it still didn't show so I suspect it could be the position it is stored in the phonebook rather than the first letter. The only thing I can see is that his sim memory is full. Without checking it I suspect it could be the number lookup only looks at those numbers that exist in the sim.....or at least it can only parse a limited number of the phonebook entries.

I have suggested a master reset but he is reluctant to try this....especially with the 300 numbers he has stored...and no IR, BT or cable option available to get the numbers first. (well unless I help him out again).

Any other ideas gratefully received.

Sorry for taking a while to reply.

The phone is a K700i with O2 branding (hence the R2AN firmware)
