Hi,

Was browsing the Argos catalogue and found:
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp[....]&langId=-1&searchTerms=9828616

Isn't this the same design as:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]012&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10012

I have a HPR-20 and it looks exactly like the repelant thing in Argos.

I thought SE were innivative in their designs - obviously not!!!

So how does that make SE not innovative?
The radio headset is a few years old now!

Well isn't design innovation creation of new and unique designs. I'm sure the design is patented, therefore one of them must have copied the other. Even the lanyard is the same!

Don't most SE users buy the phones for their uniqueness and to be 'different' from the rest?

Haha yeah. I mean, Its a pretty simple design, it could still be that they are actually a co-incedence. We don't have enough of those these days....

@ Jon
Yes but SEs product is a few years old, the thing in Argos is newer & hence SEs design WAS original when they made it.

It could be possible that SE had a surplus of parts for that device after not selling as many as expected. It would be wise if they have sold off these parts for use as some other product.

Oh & no I don't buy SE just to be exclusive, I buy SE because they're better than the rest.
I would buy a crap product just because it looks unique, that would be Nokia
