Hi there, I have a SE t610 and I really like the calling card feature: you can store calling cards and pin numbers once and for all, so when you want to make a calling card call, you don't have to remember the pin number etc. Just select the number you want to dial and chose "use calling card" - the SE automatically dials the calling card number, enters your pin and dials the number you wish to call.

I'm in the market for an upgrade - are there any other phones out there that also have this feature? I can't find this information online and there are no decent phone shops in my hood, so I can't go try things out.

Thanks!

That's interesting because I called SE and they said that the only current model with this feature is the P series. Can anyone with a P series confirm that? I know it's not on the new K700 (someone with a K700 told me)... now I'm willing to try a new phone - any brand, as long as it has the calling card feature.

Thanks.

Hmm - I guess I'll go with SE's info then. Thanks... maybe it's time to switch to something else.

lool nooooooooo its not true mate, because i remember that i used to have that on my t68i and i have got a t610 and i have that on it too, i mean these are the basic features they put on the SE phones. and to tell the truth mate, some SE staff dont no jack s**t about there phones lol, i mean they work for se but they lack of knowledge.

Interesting - I also went the T68i -> T610 route. The guy on the phone didn't sound like he knew much about the phones and this feature. Though it seems to be a basic feature that SHOULD be in all SE phones, I can't rely on that assumption. Companies do dumb things sometimes.

Well, I can tell you that the Z600 had that feature as well. However, now that I have the K700, it does not have that feature any more. I don't know why they would remove that feature, it was very useful. That was the only reason I stuck with SE in getting a K700, cause I thought they would retain most of the same features....

thats interesting, because i had a k700 before and i think it had that feature, maybe its because your handset was purchased in the states, maybe i dunno.
