P910 isn't a "pocket pc"

It's a Symbian OS ( symbian 7.0 ; UIQ 2.1 ) compatible with windows.

Anyhow, I think this is getting confused with the other thread you posted.

Focusing on your question above, you can use some windows based files on some of the built-in software the p910 has (ex. .xls, .doc. pdf).

No, the p910 does not start up like windows. neither does it need to be shut down ala windows.
