Im looking to buy a Sandisk 1GB for my P910i and dont know which one to get. There is a 1GB "gaming duo pro" in yellow colour and the normal blue colour. Anyone know the difference?
Thanks in advance!!!

The colour is the difference

Have you got a good price for the 1GB MS Pro Duo? There are still very rare to find.

So the gaming one is compatible with a p910i? I read its for devices like PS2 and other consoles. Correct me.

Im from Australia, Melbourne.
Sandisk memory stick duo pro
1GB - $168
512MB - $84

The only differece with gaming pro is the colour. Apart from that they are the same as pro duo, and yes they are compatible with P910.

just called up Sony Ericsson in Australia and asked them if the 1GB gaming duo pros are compatible with the p910i. The technician replied "NO" but the 1GB normal duo pros are. Can anyone else confirm this?

cheers

no, I dont believe that guy you spoke to.
Why would they make gaming pro incompatible with P910??

Look:
SanDisks Memory Stick PRO Duo Gaming, all the benifits of regular Memory Stick PRO Duo media, but with added colour.

Memory Stick PRO Duo is half the size of a standard-size Memory Stick PRO media and it offers the same technologies including high speed data transfer, built-in MagicGate, and high capacities. The Memory Stick PRO Duo is the ideal solution for the most portable devices such as pocket-size digital cameras and with the use of Adaptor, it can be used in all PRO-compatible devices.

Only difference is the colour of the stick mate

ten18,

I totally agree with you. Ive been reading around and all the information points to them both being the same. I would like someone else to call up SE to confirm this because i think my technician is talking rubbish.
I want to get the gaming duo because of the nice yellow colour, but until then, ill be holding back.

instead of SE, why don't you try shooting off an email to sandisk? they should be able to tell you whether there is any difference between the two sticks, other than the color. if there isn't, then that should answer your question.

Are the gaming duo pros more expensive than the normal duos?
