The best solution I can suggest is to get a P910i. I have one now and the reception is as good as, if not better than most phones that I have used (and thats been a few). I know its not cheap but it is worth every penny.

Maybe there is an antenna booster available for it?

I think the K700's signal indicator is more vairable than that on the p900, I've found that the signal often reads that it's better, then it will suddenly drop to nearly nothing or totally nothing!

hmm ok well does anyone know how to get the p900 AND the k700 to work on the same comp? iv tried the pcsuite, and file manager, and the pcsuite only works for p900, file manager for k700i. they seem to conflict with eachother so only one works at a time

edit - both on same usb cradle
